Steps is a Bangkok social enterprise built around a simple, stubborn problem: neurodivergent young people leave education and then find nothing waiting for them. Its programmes run from life skills through preparation for the future to actual transition into employment, backed by ASDAN and BTEC pathways so students finish with recognised qualifications.
The training happens in real workplaces the organisation itself runs, including the Steps cafes and a business services centre, which means students practise in a genuine commercial setting with genuine customers rather than a simulated one. Steps also consults with employers and schools on inclusion, which is how the model reached St Andrews Sukhumvit 107.
It is a certified B Corporation and a member of the Valuable 500, and it works in English, Thai and Japanese. If you have a teenager and you are starting to think about what comes after school, put this on the list early rather than in the final year.
