Spark Centre is a social enterprise founded by Premrudee Pantrat and Narawadee Bualert, both of whom came to it through their own families. The premise is that the outdoors, animals, art and play do things a clinic room cannot, and the programming is built around that rather than around a therapy timetable.
Alongside the Bangkok centre they run Farm De Lek in Nakhon Nayok, roughly two hours out of the city, which opens up longer farm-based sessions and a genuine change of environment. For a child who has stalled or shut down in conventional therapy settings, this is a legitimately different approach worth considering.
