This is the original St Andrews campus in Bangkok, located in the Vadhana district and owned by Nord Anglia Education, a major international schools group that also owns schools across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. It is a separate operation from the unrelated Cognita-owned St Andrews campuses at Sathorn, Sukhumvit 107, and Dusit, despite the shared name.
Founded in 1997, the school offers a British-style education from Foundation Stage age 2 through to age 18, and being part of the Nord Anglia network gives it access to shared curriculum resources and partnerships across that group's other schools worldwide, including collaborations with organizations like MIT and Juilliard that Nord Anglia arranges centrally.
The school has picked up IB and international school awards recognition in past years, and being commonly known by the abbreviation STA71, referencing its location on Sukhumvit Soi 71, helps distinguish it locally from the other St Andrews branded campuses in the city that operate under entirely different ownership.
