Sarasas Ektra is part of the long-running Sarasas school network in Thailand, combining Catholic educational values with an international, bilingual Thai-English program, giving it institutional backing from an established Thai school group rather than operating as a fully independent international school.
That Sarasas network affiliation means Ektra benefits from shared resources and a long institutional history within Thailand's broader private education landscape, even as its specific international, bilingual program serves a different audience than the network's more purely Thai-curriculum schools.
The combination of Catholic values with bilingual Thai-English instruction is a distinctive positioning within Bangkok's international school market, most of which is either secular or tied to Protestant Christian denominations rather than Catholic specifically.
Families specifically seeking a Catholic, bilingual Thai-English education, backed by an established local school network, would consider Sarasas Ektra alongside Bangkok's smaller number of other faith-based bilingual options.
