D-PREP, originally Didyasarin Preparatory International School, was founded in 2018 by Lady Didyasarin Tavedikul, a member of the family behind the American School of Bangkok's Sukhumvit and Green Valley campuses, giving this newer Bang Na-area school a direct family connection to one of Bangkok's more established American school operators.
The school combines American curriculum elements with the IB framework, giving families a blended pathway option rather than a purely single-curriculum program, an approach that echoes ASB's own combination of American standards with an IB Diploma option.
As a relatively new school, having opened in 2018, D-PREP does not yet carry the multi-decade track record of ASB or ISB, but its founding family's background in running American schools in Bangkok gives it institutional experience behind the scenes that a completely independent new school would lack.
