The Dyslexia Hub

The Dyslexia Hub provides comprehensive online diagnostic dyslexia assessments for children aged 8–16, delivered by a qualified Dyslexia Assessor in accordance with British Dyslexia Association guidance and professional standards.

Assessments are conducted fully online, allowing children to be assessed from the comfort of their own homes.

A diagnostic dyslexia assessment goes beyond identifying dyslexia. It provides a detailed understanding of a child's individual learning profile, including their cognitive and literacy strengths and areas of difficulty. Even when dyslexia is not identified, the findings can offer valuable insights to help parents and teachers understand a child's learning needs and plan appropriate support.

The assessment process begins with gathering background information from parents and the child's school to understand their learning history and current difficulties. Following the assessment, families receive a detailed diagnostic report with practical, tailored recommendations for home and school, including classroom strategies, next steps and, where appropriate, guidance on exam access arrangements.

The Dyslexia Hub also offers a 15-minute online dyslexia screening for families who are unsure whether a full diagnostic assessment is necessary. This shorter screening helps identify potential indicators of dyslexia and inform whether further assessment may be appropriate. Screening does not provide a formal diagnosis.
