The Dyslexia Hub does one thing: full diagnostic dyslexia assessments for children aged 8 to 16, in person in the Asok area. The assessor is trained in line with British Dyslexia Association guidance and professional standards, which matters if the report needs to be accepted by a British-curriculum school or an exam board.
The output is a detailed written report mapping strengths as well as difficulties, with practical recommendations aimed at things a class teacher can actually start doing on Monday, plus guidance on next steps and, where appropriate, exam access arrangements such as extra time.
That last point is the one parents underestimate. An IGCSE or A Level access arrangement generally needs evidence from a properly qualified assessor, obtained well before the exam series, not a note from a tutor.
