HoyHon is an aerial arts, pole and dance studio with branches at Park Silom and RCA. For the October break its Silom branch runs an Acro and Aerial Camp with Kids Mindfulness Co., Ltd, on a Halloween theme. The day alternates movement and making: an aerial or acro class in the morning, an hour of art after lunch, then a final class before four o'clock. Across the week that means silks and hoop, dance, stretching and contortion, acro gym, and on the art side tie dye, clay, painting, mask and ornament making and slime, finishing with a performance on the Friday. Lunch, snacks and drinks are included, and the studio is a two minute walk from Saladaeng BTS.
Worth knowing
HoyHon does not publish an age range for the camp anywhere we can find, and its own booking system lists only adult classes, so the camp sits outside it. The children in the operator's own photographs look preschool to early primary, but that is our reading of a flyer rather than a stated policy, so ask before you book. The published programme grid covers both weeks rather than one each, which suggests the two weeks run the same five-day sequence; worth confirming if you are thinking of booking both. On the plus side this is one of the few camps with a genuine day rate, at 1,700 baht, and one of the few open on 13 and 23 October, which are both public holidays when most camps close.
